Welcome to the Woodford Quiz League

The first league of its kind, orignally set up in Brick Lane, the Woodford Quiz League is Cork's most exciting pub quiz competition. Built on the solid foundation of a beloved weekly Speed Quiz that’s been running strong for over 10 years, this new league format turns regular quiz nights into competitive fixtures packed with rivalry, pride, and big bragging rights.

Whether you're here to prove your trivia dominance, show off your team logo, or just enjoy a pint with added purpose — this league spices up the standard quiz night and gives every week more meaning.

How the League Works

Teams are matched up weekly in head-to-head fixtures, with points awarded based on the final score margin:

Clear Win:

Average scores (AV) are tracked each week and used as a tiebreaker and performance measure. At the end of the season, the top team will be crowned champion and take home the Brick Lane Trophy.

Top-performing teams may be invited to inter-league competitions. Teams who miss a fixture forfeit all potential points and see a hit to their average. Persistent absences lead to elimination, and any of their previous results will be voided — with points redistributed fairly.

When Does the Next League Start?

The Winter League has just kicked and is the third season of the tournament. If your team is interested in joining the Spring event please let the Quiz Host know during or after your regular quiz night for more details.

Team Packs

Every team will have their own team page featuring fixtures, results, logos, and a downloadable asset pack. These packs will include your team logo and custom artwork formatted for the quiz app and promotional use.
